The Brading Community Partnership (BCP) was established in March 2017 to secure the future of Brading Youth Club, which has been in existence since 1957 and plays a vital role in the lives of the young people of Brading.
The BCP subsequently acquired Charitable Incorporated Organisation status (Registered Charity No 1172210) and in 2018 obtained a 125 year lease for the old School building in Brading. The building has now been rebranded as the Brading Youth & Community Centre (BYCC) and the Youth Club continues to thrive there. As a charity, the BCP is managed by Trustees, all of whom are volunteers.
The Brading Youth & Community Centre (BYCC) now offers a wide range of both youth and general community activities. We have a thriving cafe open twice a week, youth club evenings and the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme. The property is used by community groups such as a chess club, Crafty Crew, cooking lessons for adults and the Fibromyalgia Group and we also host seminars from community assistance groups such as Wight Sense, the Footprint Trust and Age UK, to name but a few.
The BCP receives no government funding and currently relies exclusively on funding from private organisations, Brading Town Council, donations and in-house fund raising to provide the finances to preserve and maintain the historic old School building and provide the facilities needed for our range of activities to continue.

New Lights in Sports Hall
Many thanks to Local Giving Magic Little Grants and Sandown and Shanklin Lions Club for the grants to help us replace the old lights in the Brading Youth and Community Centre Sports Hall. The lights are now installed, up and running. Thank you.
